  19. Take 2 cups shredded Napa cabbage
  20. Prepare 1 cup Julienne carrots (about 2 thick carrots)
  21. Get 8 oz white mushrooms sautéed
  22. Prepare Half bag of French green beans snipped and halved (8oz bag)
  23. Prepare Bundle green onions sliced horizontally into half inch slices (about 6 green onions)
  24. Get low mein noodles

Quick and easy to prepare, this Chicken Lo Mein is packed with veggies and saucy goodness. This Lo Mein gets it's flavour from garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, kecap manis and white pepper. Chicken lo mein is surprisingly easy to make at home. Made with just soy sauce, sesame oil, a pinch of sugar, ramen noodles or spaghetti noodles, and any veggies or protein you like.

Steps to make Chicken Lo mein:
  1. Start by adding the mushrooms to the wok and cook them down very well until they have reduced in size and browned, remove and set aside.
  2. Cook your lo mein noodles, drain and set aside.
  3. Heat peanut oil in your wok until slightly smoking. Start by adding the chicken and cook until you see no more raw and remove and set aside. Add a little more oil and then add the beans and carrots for a few minutes until you see them getting seared. Add the green onions for an additional couple minutes.
  4. Add in the the Mushrooms and chicken and toss really well and cook until everything is getting a really good sear. Add the cabbage for another minute or until it breaks down.
  5. Add the noodles and toss well. Push everything to the side and add the rest of the sauce and let it start to simmer then toss everything together very well.
  6. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
